Designing for Hospitality: Fabrics that Perform Under Pressure
· VL Fabrics Editorial Team
Hotels and restaurants need fabric that copes with constant use and frequent cleaning and still looks good after years of it.
Points to check: the abrasion rating, how the fabric should be cleaned, whether your project needs a fire test certificate, and how it behaves in strong sunlight. Ask for the test reports for the particular fabric rather than relying on the type of fabric.
Approve a sample before committing to a large quantity, and order everything for one area together so the colour matches across batches.
